1. My card has disappeared
The card is saved by the browser you made it in. Open the login page in Chrome and it will not see a card made in Samsung Internet, Firefox or an app's built-in browser. Social and chat apps often open links in their own mini browser, which has its own separate storage.
- Open damanlogin.uk in the browser you normally use and check again.
- Private and incognito tabs forget everything when they close. A card made in one is gone once that tab is.
- Clearing browsing data, cookies or site data for all sites removes the card too.
2. The key code is not recognised
Codes begin with DLK- followed by a long run of letters, numbers, dashes and underscores. The restore box rejects a code that is missing even one character. When you copy from a chat, long-press and choose Copy rather than selecting by hand, and check that the app did not add a full stop or a line break. Codes from other sites will never work here.
3. The card will not save
If you see a message that storage is blocked, the browser is refusing to let this site keep data. Some private modes, data-saver settings and strict privacy add-ons do this. Allow site data for damanlogin.uk, or switch to a normal tab, then make the card again.
4. The page will not load or looks broken
- Pull down to refresh once.
- Check that other sites load, so you know the connection is fine.
- Clear the cache for this one site only. Clearing all data would also remove your card.
- Update the browser if it is several versions behind. The game uses nothing unusual, but very old browsers can struggle.
5. My player name is rejected
Names need 3 to 16 characters using letters, numbers, spaces, dots, dashes or underscores. Emoji and symbols are not accepted, so the card displays the same way on every phone.
6. A run did not add to my card
A run is added when its last pick snaps. If you closed the tab mid-run, the run is still waiting: open the start page and tap Resume. If you played in a different browser, the score went to the card in that browser, or to a new Guest card if it had none.
7. I have two cards on two phones
Cards cannot be merged, because each one is a separate snapshot. Pick the card you want to keep, copy its key code and restore it on the other device. That replaces the second card, so make sure it is the one you can live without.
8. The needle stopped moving
Pin Picker pauses itself when you switch tabs or lock the screen, so a pick cannot snap while you are away. Tap Resume on the dial and the current pin restarts with the needle on the far side of the gate.
9. Some taps are ignored
After a slip the lock jams for about a third of a second, and after a lock opens there is a short pause before the next one starts. Taps in those moments are not counted, so a nervous double tap does not cost two picks. If taps are ignored all the time, check that a screen protector or a long-press menu is not getting in the way.
10. A page asked me for a password
Then it was not this site. Close it without typing anything. Check the address bar: the only address we use is damanlogin.uk. You can always get back to the real start page of the lock game by typing that address in yourself.
Still stuck?
Write to the help desk with your phone model, browser and what you see on screen. Please never include your key code in the message; we do not need it and you should keep it private.
